Latest technology for USA sugar refinery

Imperial Sugar has awarded Jord a turnkey contract to design and construct an activated carbon plant to decolour sugar at its 100 year old sugar refinery in Port Wentworth, Georgia.  Jord’s technology is an environmentally friendly and modern alternative to the 1920’s era bone char system that it will be replacing. Reliability and efficiency were of foremost importance to ensure Imperial Sugar’s long and rich history continues.
