Clean air for Saudi Arabian petrochemical plant.
Eight vent gas scrubbing modules designed and supplied by Jord have been successfully installed into the world’s largest polycarbonate plant in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The modules remove volatile organic compounds from various process and vent gas streams within the petrochemical complex.
The units were fully assembled and tested in a vertical position at a Korean assembly yard, before being lowered to a horizontal position for transportation to site. A special purpose “Jumbo” ship was chartered to handle the oversize modules.
