SEPARATION

Gas Separation
Jord is a licensee of Burgess Manning Inc, an American based pioneer of separation and silencer technology, with know-how and references extending back to the early 1900’s. This technology applies to two and three phase separation of liquids and solids from gas streams. Methods of separation include vane packs, plate packs, cyclones, multi-cyclones, filter cartridges and coalescer cartridges.

Jord offers a comprehensive range of technical alternatives, allowing a truly objective approach to selecting the optimal technology for each application:

  1. VERTICAL GAS SEPARATORS
  2. TWO AND THREE PHASE SEPARATORS
  3. SUCTION AND DISCHARGE SCRUBBERS
  4. LOW TEMPERATURE SEPARATORS
  5. METHANOL SEPARATORS
  6. CLOSED DRAINS VESSELS
  7. DEGASSERS
  8. PRODUCTION AND INLET SEPARATORS
  9. TEST SEPARATORS
  10. SLUG CATCHERS
  11. FILTER SEPARATORS
  12. DRY GAS FILTERS
  13. COALESCERS

The technology available to apply to the above:

  1. Vane Technology
  2. Single and Double Pocket Vanes
  3. Vertical and Horizontal Flow
  4. Cyclone Technology
  5. Single and Multi Cyclone
  6. Axial Flow
  7. Reverse Flow
  8. Primary Inlet Devices
  9. Vane Type Inlet Devices
  10. Schopentoeters
  11. Dry Gas Filter Elements
  12. Coalescing Elements
  13. Wire mesh Demister

Jord’s strength is a proven record of successful retrofits of existing equipment. There are many opportunities for poorly performing equipment to be retro-fitted with an alternative separation concept that results in increased throughput and/or efficiency. These often produce attractive pay backs to the customer, with minimal plant disruption.

Liquid Separation
In addition, Jord offers its own in-house strainer technology, for solids removal from seawater and other liquid streams. Products range from fully automatic backwash to simple manual strainers.
